Our staff
The diverse skills of all our staff give a richness to the quality of teaching and contribute to the unique zest and colour of the school.
We are proud to have been successful in gaining Investors in People for the fourth time in 2009, demonstrating our commitment to developing and investing in all our staff.

Teaching Staff
Dulwich Hamlet invests heavily in its teaching and support staff, seeking to retain, encourage, promote and reward them so that they can enrich the school. Experience is highly prized, newly qualified teachers can come to the school after working for many years in other professions - amongst our teaching staff we have an animator, ex-journalist,banker, probation officer and scientist.
Support Staff
The often unsung heroes of a school, the support staff, bring a tangible air of calmness and order which is tremendously valued and appreciated. Their wide experience ranges from administration and premises to special needs and education. Support staff work with some children to give them literacy, maths or ICT support. They also give behavioural support and are there for children who seek them out at a 'Buddy Bus Stop' in the playground.

We have a large number of volunteers in our school - we value giving enthusiastic men and women who are considering a career in teaching, an opportunity to experience life in the classroom. We work with both South Bank University and Goldsmiths in supporting teaching students - the classrooms are constantly energised by the additional ideas that these keen individuals bring to Dulwich Hamlet.
"The teaching is outstanding due to teachers' excellent subject knowledge and their high expectations of pupils"
