Music and performance

Dulwich Hamlet Junior School offers a wide variety of fantastic musical    opportunities for all children wishing to take part, and we have a track record of encouraging enthusiastic pupils to fulfill their musical potential and to take part in a number of exciting activities.

Our ensembles and choirs are continually being invited to perform and compete in a number of highly regarded competitions such as the Birmingham Youth Festival, the Beckenham Festival and the Dulwich Festival.. Our Brass emsemble were recently filmed and played with 'Rosie and Jim' and our recorder ensemble have recently been invited to perform alongside the London Symphony Orchestra. We hold regular Music Concerts including one especially devoted to recorders, Early Music and our own ensemble called Fusion which composes its own musical works.

Our musical teaching staff include Brass teachers Mr & Mrs Greenhill, Strings teacher Mr Pook, Woodwind teachers Mrs Noton, Miss Brant, and Mr Beaney and Guitar teacher Mr Duff.
