Extra curricular activities

What don't our children do at Dulwich Hamlet?

The children can take part in clubs such as french, art, animation, lego, chess, drama and film club - we even run a club to learn Mandarin! We strive to meet the interests of the children and are really lucky that we have parents as well as our dedicated staff who are prepared to run some of these clubs. We have links with Alleyns and some of our children attend an after school science club there, once a week.

If you are a parent keen to run a club, even for a limited time, please contact the school office.

Sports Clubs

Children can join tag rugby, netball, cross country running, and football clubs and we are always interested in expanding our offering if we think it will be popular, and of benefit to the children.

Further Musical Opportunities

Children can join a variety of ensemble groups depending on the instrument they play.

Our musicians have composed and performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and their work recorded for broadcast on Radio 3, The choir has sung at The Scoop as part of the Thames Festival and sing in the O2 Stadium in December as part of Young Voices. We enter Music for Youth each year with many successful journies to the finals.

We love to showcase our talent in other ways and participate in the Beckenham Music Festival.

Please see our music pages for lots more information about the musical magic we make at Dulwich Hamlet.
